우리는 언제나 힘이 약한 곳으로 기운다.
강한 자에게는 조심스럽고, 약한 자에게는 쉽게 잣대를 들이대곤 한다.
그렇게 만들어진 판단은 결국 모두에게 상처를 내고,
서로가 서로의 약함을 발판 삼아 무너져간다.

We always lean toward the weaker side.
We tread carefully around the strong, yet place our harshest judgments on those who seem vulnerable.
Such judgments inevitably wound everyone,
and in the end, we collapse by stepping on each other’s frailties.
